I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I learned some photography tips and tricks from the back of a cereal box many a morning eating before school. It was a generic Cheerios cereal from Food4Less which offered to try out different angles and look for unique lighting situations.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz in 2017 with a major in Community Studies and minor in Linguistics, I decided to gain a formal understanding of cameras and photography at Santa Ana College.
I participated in the 2022 Student Art Show and was awarded the Best in Photography for my photo of the Santiago Creek in West Floral Park March 2022.
I aim to create landscape photos which may surprise viewers in positive ways and reconsider everyday situations from a different viewpoint.
